Pound It Hip Hop Studio

Description

Pound It Hip Hop Studio is a dance studio in Red Deer, Alberta, teaching Hip Hop, Breaking, Locking, Waacking, House and other street and club styles to children, youth and adults. With recreational crews, competitive teams, open training and school residencies, families needed a clear way to find the right class — and the studio needed a site its team could keep current every season.

We designed and built the new site on Wagtail, the CMS behind Catalystdev's Business CMS platform. Programs, crews, schedules, faculty, events and important dates are all structured content, so staff update tuition, class times and calendars from the admin without touching code.

The visual identity takes its cues from the studio's culture: high-contrast black and yellow, condensed type and full-bleed performance photography, with registration always one click away.

Project Result

Families can now go from the homepage to the right crew, time slot and tuition in a few clicks, and the studio team manages the season's programs, schedule and events on its own. The site gives Pound It a presence that matches its energy on stage and a foundation that grows with each new season.
